Comments from Lock the Gate Alliance members and supporters

The government will not address the problem of the damage caused by CSG mining, because they are broke; and because they have already sold the gas to China, and have contracts to fill. So no matter how much evidence is shown to them (from independent experts and from their own departments) of the irreversible destruction of our land and water that will result from this industry, they are still prepared to sacrifice the GAB and all the irreplaceable water supplies of Australia, for the APPEA industry.

We must all say 'Enough' - we will not let you destroy this great land, by your greed and your incompetence.

Anne - Coonamble, New South Wales
